ABOUT THE BRAND
Maud Heline moved to the US in 2012 after having worked for years in the fashion industry, for ISABEL MARANT and BALMAIN in Paris and more recently for MAIYET in New York.
She studied design at l’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
It is when she became a mother that she started designing her own shirts that soon after were distributed by Barneys New York and Colette in Paris.
Her garments express her appreciation of fine craftsmanship, her attention to detail, and her love for pure and simple lines with always a feminine touch.
She is revisiting classic poplin shirts with a modern shape using the finest Italian poplin and graphic trims from Switzerland. Her entire collections is produced in New York and designed in her Brooklyn based studio. Her first entirely white poplin collection was inspired by origami artist, Jun Mitani.
