Born into a family of renowned glove makers, Inès Lafarge was immersed from childhood in a world of fashion, fine materials, and rich colors, deeply influenced by her mother’s courage and tenacity. Observing and learning, she went on to conquer Parisian fashion houses and developed an impeccable standard for quality, now essential to Douce Gloire’s cashmere scarf designs.

Douce Gloire is also a story of discovery. In 2006, Inès traveled to Nepal to meet her family’s glove suppliers. An avid traveler, she not only discovered a new country but encountered the traditional craft of cashmere manufacturing and recognized its profound potential.
