How did you get started in women’s clothing design and did you know from an early age you wanted to be in this industry?
I started when I was a little girl at the age of 10. Designers like YSL and Courrèges inspired me greatly. I was born in Antwerp and have lived there as well. As a little girl I went to the fashion shows of the Academy of Antwerp and was excited by these shows.
What or where do you look for to find your design/inspiration each season?
Documents, films, exhibitions, reconstruction of previous collections, vintage pieces, paintings, people and a lot of drawing.
What are a few favorite collection styles you personally wear again and again your round?
Cashmere knit, jeans, oversized shorts, flora mules
To date what has been you favorite travel destination or trip?
I do not have an absolute favorite, but I like London, Paris and Rome.
If you were stuck with the choice of one breakfast to eat daily for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Orange juice, whole grain bread, a slice of cheese and coffee

What is your main source of calm/distraction since the start of the pandemic?
Bicycling one hour a day near the sea, where I am living
