Album di Famiglia

Album di Famiglia clothing is a minimalist, family-run label with a focus on relaxed shapes and high-quality textiles. Founded in 2000 by designer Monica Rusconi, their handcrafted garments and minimalist clothing are sustainably produced in Northern Italian workshops.

This Italian designer clothing brand is known for its high-quality fabrics and simple silhouettes in muted color palettes. Everyday pieces like their drawstring cropped trousers and wide-cut shirts are created for long-term wear. It’s made-to-last clothing designed to enhance and evoke life’s simple pleasures.

Album di Famiglia - Minimalist Italian Clothing from Lomazzo

Album di Famiglia began in 2000 with a white T-shirt Monica Rusconi made for her son. Her sister Patrizia joined the label soon after, and in 2011, her brother joined. Album di Famiglia has been run as a family brand guided by a single principle: clothes should be simple enough to live in.

Since 2017, the studio, in via del Ronco in Lomazzo, has occupied a nineteenth-century cotton mill on the rail line north of Milan, where each garment is designed, cut, and sewn in a small Italian workshop. The remaining red brick and tall windows pay homage to the building's history and working life.

The fabric is the center of each collection. Cotton velvet and compact cotton lend tailored trousers and jackets their structure, while brushed jersey and cashmere soften knits and blouses. Album di Famiglia colors are typically earthy, muted, and organic, with their shapes holding proportion throughout the years. This is what Roztayger looks for in a brand: longevity, quality, and wearability.
