Labo Art

Ludovica Diligu founded Labo Art in Milan in 2006, after several years working in theater and fashion production. She was raised by an engineer and an architect, and grew up around lines, volumes, and geometry. She has described her method as subtraction, working from shapes and numbers.

The clothes follow from that. Cotton, wool, and linen cut into simple, deliberate volumes, with each collection organized around a small group of colors. Her reference points are the historical moments of fashion, theater, and cinema. Production is entirely Italian. The creative studio and flagship store are in Milan, where the company was founded.
