Well—I'm back from my whirlwind market week! And with it I've shared some photos here of my week spent in NYC. Spring 2020 highlights included a range of items from modern, crisp cotton separates, to textural, easy thrown-on-and-don't-think-about-it shapes. I happily discovered some amazing patterns placed on lovely cotton batiste scarves from France. Easy dressing with accents of delicate jewelry in sculptural shapes—from plexiglass to delicate metal chains. Then there was stunning structured bags from Germany; then the perfect post modern cashmere cardigan with built in sleeve adjusters. All in all, I found romance, edge and a bit of optimism just around the corner in 2020. And, if we're all honest, we could use a little bit more of that in our lives too, no?
