Lihann George

Lihann George is a leather goods collection founded by Belgian designer Liesbet Johanna Georgine, whose career spans more than 25 years in accessory design, including over a decade as Head of Accessories at Dries Van Noten, and collaborations with Kvadrat/Raf Simons and Kassl Editions. The collection is produced at Studio Cuoio, her leather design and production house near Antwerp, at her atelier and showroom within the KANAAL complex by Axel Vervoordt.

The work is guided by architectural thinking: clear, sculptural silhouettes in seasonless natural leather, designed without visible logos and built to develop a personal patina over time. Each bag is made to integrate into everyday life without announcing itself.

Lihann George: Architectural Leather Bags from Antwerp


Lihann George brings together over 25 years of expertise in leather design into a tightly focused collection of bags built for daily use. Founded by Belgian accessories designer Liesbet Johanna Georgine—whose background includes leading accessories at Dries Van Noten and collaborative work with Kvadrat/Raf Simons—the collection is produced entirely at Studio Cuoio, her Antwerp-based leather design and production atelier.

The bags are made from two types of leather: Crushed Grain, a structured buffalo leather that develops a deep patina, and Matte Natural Grain, a softer cow leather with a smooth, flexible hand. Silhouettes range from the large architectural Matti and Kiki totes to the minimal Sieni convertible bag and the Didi neck pouch. No visible logos. No seasonal turnover. Pieces designed to be carried for years.
